10in wide chevy truck rallys!

I picked these up about a year ago on a junk k5 I bought for parts. I kept them thinking hey cool these will look good on my 65. I just figured they were an option back then in the 70s but after doing some research I found chevy didn't make 10in wide rallys for the trucks. Fast forward to now. I have been sanding them down to respray them and put them under my lifted blazer. There were a few companies that would widen your stock wheels. they must be very rare. I have never seen them before on anything else and have only found one pic of a set online. Does anyone have some pictures of some. Painting mine a little darker metallic grey with new trim rings.

That's very cool. In the Porsche world there are a few guys in Cali who'll take your 6" steelies and make them 8", 9", 10". Great find.

Re: 10in wide chevy truck rallys!

sanded them down, primed, and sanded again. finally got a break in the rain so I could get some color on them. now I need to get the tire mounded up and find a set of trim rings. do you guys think that a set of deep rings or thin rings would look better? they will be wrapped in a set of 35x12.50s. I was able to post photos before but the forum has changed something so I am now unable to post pics any bigger than a thumbnail. I will get some up once they are mounted.

As deep as the wheels are, I doubt you could find a set of wide rings that would fit properly. And even if you could, I think narrow trim rings would look much better.
