Talking $800.00 454/th400 in a C20 shaped box.

Brought home the "new" C20 yesterday, took her out to see what the 454 could do.

Bought the truck from the original owner, who recently had the motor and trans gone through. He gave me a stack of papers dating back to '74, engine was rebuilt in '99 only 22,000 on the odometer since then

As you can see he used it to pull a fifth wheel around, so the trans was built ('02) up as well.

Overall she's in pretty good shape except for the normal rust and wear spots.

Anyway heres some more pics after I got her home.

nice truck but it looks like you may need to spend a little less time with the trucks and more with the mower

I though I got a deal when I bought my 80 2wheel drive Blazer for $200 But you got a killer deal on the truck with that engine and trans. I would love to put that in my Blazer. Let us know if you decide to put the big block in you 72. B.B.

That's a smoking deal. You should be able to see that fifth wheel hitch and recoup some of that...

Those pics in the first post were taken over a year ago. So what have you done to it since then?

Re: $800.00 454/th400 in a C20 shaped box.

Nothing but a tune up unfortunately, between finishing up school and the new job it sits next to Screamin' and occasionally makes a dump run or two. I had big plans of swapping the 454 into Screamin' but reality is a SOB. I'm tired of paying the insurance on it and the city is getting pissy about my 4 trucks 2 cars and an SUV parked on their street.
