Re: 17 inch rallys??

Well, what tire are you running now? What are your plans to do with truck? Towing? Assuming a 235/75/15 = 28.8" and a 235/55/17 =28.1" start there. Goto a tire store or look on line for brand, load capacity, and other sizes.
I run 245/45/18 front and 295/45/18 rear. 26.6 and 28.6" tall.

Re: 17 inch rallys??

What are you running for rear shocks? Maybe a set of 'progressives' would help during tow trips. Looks like fleeBay has some wheels; lmc is no help.

These are 18x8 and 18x9 with 245 45 18 front and 285 45 18 rear. I was going with a 295 45 18 for the rear but found an amazing closeout deal on a pair of Pirelli's 285 45 so I'm going to run them for a while.

Re: 17 inch rallys??

Verdel how much is your truck dropped? I like a lot! I love the thoughts of 285s out back. Did you have to modify anything else?

Re: 17 inch rallys??

Be careful when buying 17's the tires are much more expensive than 16's or 18's because it is a rair size.

I have 2.5" drop spindles up front with the torsion bars cranked down a little but not sure the exact measurement. I simply adjusted them to the height I wanted. Same thing for the rear air bags. No modification was needed at all. I actually run it a little lower than the height on the pics...hope this helps
