67cst - I'll trade. I have a tach lens and all that would let you use a tach dash without the air pressure gauge.

Also, you need to be careful about the fuel gauge. Well, not the gauge, but the idiot lights in the fuel gauge. Big trucks usually have different words on them. My c60 has "Overspeed" where "Brake" would be on a pickup. Just use your existing fuel gauge.

The bezel is different too. It's cut deeper for the pickup's steering colum.

67CST I have the same thing out of a big truck in my 69 with the air gauge. All you have to do is buy a new bezel so that it fits your column. I don't realy know what these go for but i payed $140 for the dash then went down the line about 20 yards and got a n.o.s. bezel and new n.o.s. amp gauge for $100. Did I pay too much I bought it a few years ago at a swap meet and never price checked after.

thanks for the useful info guys, i was planning on getting a new bezel anways, anyone have an extra one kicking around that is in great shape? also on the back of the tach which wire goes to the distributor and which one goes to power? thanks for the help

The back of the tach has the wire assignment stamped into it: COIL and 12V. The coil lead goes to the negative side of the points coil or the "TACH" connector on your HEI. The "12V" lead goes to the fuse panel "IGN SW" or something like that.
I think the last link accessed via my signature will show what my tach/air dash looks like. I've got it hooked to the onboard air compressor converted from an A6 A/C compressor.
