Will #882 heads from a 1975 have the right front bolt holes for a 72 application as far as the alternator mounting
Anything else that might cause me problems?

Yup, you are good to go

The only problems I can see , are using the large chamber heads on a 305 or 307(lower compresssion).....on a 327 or 350, should be no problem.
