here is a bunch of new parts that we have for it so far, the Camaro is Steves newer toy, the thing is an absolute beuty!! Plus some more parts that have to be sandblasted plus what has been done already. And CAMS forthe engine, cant have a hot rod without the hot rod sound|!!

Got all of the tabs ground off of the rear differential and then got it sandblasted, the engine is now all cleaned up also ready for some cams.

Engine all cleaned up and the new cams installed, super cool setup. I found that one of the tensioners were gone so had to replace that, and when you go to install the cams, comp cams does not tell you but you need a different bolt for the gears, so had to order those. but overall she is in nice condition

Engine painted and finally mated to the transmission, then set into the frame, front crossmember took me a few hours to get lined up and in the correct position, but it is there and square bolted in and not going anywhere now!!

So went out to the farm to get the rad support so I could mock up the radiator in hopes of using the oringinal crown vic rad. Everything unbolted great and we brought the rad support home with us. I bolted the support down and the rad fit in there like a glove!! I had to make a few mounts for it but we can use the rad and the trans/pwr steering cooler. Will have to get a ftermarket a/c condensor for it tho. I also ordered a new rad support as this one was rusted out quite badly on the bottom. I would have more hours into this supprt to repair it than to buy a new one. not llquite worth it in my opinion. New one should be here in a few weeks.

New radiator brackets al mounted and good to go. Now I have to install the rest of the front suspension, but first I have to get some of it sandblasted and painted. I know it doesnt seem like I have gotten a lot done but there has been quite a bit done here. Now hopefully parts will start showing up for the brake system, fuel system, wiring, fuel tank and the rear suspension. Cant wait to get this rollling on the ground.

I redid my Vortec Max also, Repainted the whole truck and murdered it out. It went from stock height, slammed 5/7 to a 3/5 drop then back to stock. I loved it slammed but the belltech strut blew out on me. She has the LS3 aluminum 6.0 Vette engine in her with the 14 bolt diff. Love the truck. needed a chevy to put in the ford thread. lol

I need to get out to the garage, but work 2 of the next 3 weekends. Today I'm doing a brake job and oil change on my oldest girls car. Keep at her James.

ront suspension parts all blasted and painted, then finally the front suspension is all together, just have to pick up the front brake pads in the morning so I can install the calipers. I also have most of the front acessories mounted on the engine and jsut about ready to install the intake, have to grab the gasket for that in the morning also. Napa run here we come. Little selfie for everyone, me trying to be mexican, lol. not quite a great imitation. but that is how I roll in my shop, keep the sparks off the neck and the body breathing cool.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate the dopleganger. lol. Well we so far Have gotten alot more done. Went to the farm because it was nice out nad thought it was about time to get the cab blasted as |I was waiting for parts to continue on the frame. Once I got everything torn down I looked at the fender and realized they were right full of mud, so apart they came so it can be blasted also. Got everything all blasted and back to the city. the rust on this is so minimal it is exciteing me even more to work on it. We did find a bit more rust but nothing major.

Few of the rust spots in the cab. not very much there, and can you believe how much room is between the engine and firewall. this would be the easiest engine removal of all time!

Fuel tank showed up when |I was at the farm, got it installed right away, mounted it from the bottom with some supports. It is a stainless steel fuel tank from a 70 mustang. Little trimming on the rails and we now have a 20 gallon tank! Plus we got more parts!! Got the ridetech rear triangulated suspension with the coilovers, the Pacesetter headers, the Vintage air evap box, Ididit Column, All the lokar pedals and stuff to go with. Plus much more. LLSo excited to build this truck. It will be such a nice cruiser to go anywhere and ride in style and comfort

Truck is now at ride height and squared up for rear suspension install. My mess there. oops, Once I got the rear differential in place I actually welded it to a bunch of bracketry so it did not move at all. easy to mock everything up this way. I removed a crossmember so |I could get the upper coilover mount installed, got the lower rear mounts tacked in and had to build a upper bar to mount the inner 4 link bars.The reason for the upper bar is because the rear differential housing is offset to one side, creating a problem for me to mount the upper tabs. This is where I am at as of now. I have a appointment this morning to go to and then back onto the truck today and hopefully get the rest of the rear differential in place.

So I made some templates for the upper link bars and then got them tacked in. Everything worked amazing and how it issuppose to. So I blew it all apart and welded the differential al up and got the frame all welded up. Once this was accomplished i cleaned it all up and ainted the rear frame rails where they needed t obe nad got the rear differential painted. Then Assembled

I want to thank RIdetech for such a great product!!! I love using their products, great to use and work with. Next up was the pacesetter headers for a 2000 Mustang GT, they didnt quite fit so I had to do a little frame chop chop. Got the frame all welded up after the surgery and then installed the headers, Still have to raise the engine up out of the way in order to install headers, but they fit like a glove.

Lift off time!! got the brake booster installed and in the place |I want it for the new pedal assembly, once this was completedd I put the IDIDIT column in and needed to figure out the linkage situation as the 4R70E linkage wont work with the headers. Made a braket for the trans and the cab, I used a old Lokar shift cable I had laying around here and the end product turned out great, Away from the exhaust and lots of adjustment if needed.

Got the rear brakes all put together and the e-brake cables onto the truck now also. all hooked up and working, just need to install the front cable now, but gotta wait on that one. Also Got The brake line kit from Inline tube, stainless steel, that will be todays job now. Today I am gonna order the Stainless exhaust kit so I can build the exhaust, the mufflers, driveshaft and a couple other things, I am hoping to have the frame all done by the end of the week and then I can start on the body of the truck. I also talked t oRon Francis who is building the wiring harness for the truck and the body of it, They should have it done in a week or two!! can't wait to install that one.

So yesterday I gotthe brake lines all bent up and installedm had to remove the engine to get the line across the crossmember, but nothing too major there, 3 bolts. lol. LEverything is looking great so far, The stainless exhaust parts should arrive today so that way it can get done and then waiting on the driveshaft. all coming together nicely.

Alot has changed since i last updated this site I now have my own metal fabrication buisiness ans hot rod shop. I took the plunge and decided to go for it. The company is Full Throttle Concepts.
