Re: repro.inner door panels

hello! assuming youre talking about the inner bottoms...they fit pretty well on my 60.and as you say typical off shore parts yes they dont match the contour where the outer skin wraps around...with some hammer and dolly work you can get there...one side i had to do a little pie cut to get in shape...

No i mean just the screw on inner door panels.mine are kind of rusty.
Blasted but have a bunch of pin holes and dents.not worth the effort to fix.

I've been curious about their quality as well. I have an idea I'd like to try on my interior but want to test it on a 2nd set of panels & haven't been able to find good used ones locally. Don't want to spend money on junk either.

Hopefully someone can provide some insight.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Did they seem to be similar thickness?
Any distortions or weird visuals that didn't match your originals (it's common that aftermarket stuff has a corner that doesn't quite match but its overall useable etc...)?

I didn’t notice any unusual imperfections. Mind you I didn’t put them side by side with originals and inspect them closely. They fit perfect and looked good thats all I cared . It’s not like the rockers, A pillars and complete floor I used on this truck where those pieces always need tweaking and fitting
