Manual transmission

Does anyone here have a half-ton with a 4.8 and manual transmission?

Does the NV3500 have a granny gear or does it drive similar to the way a car does? I'm trying to figure out if a manual is worth considering or if I should stick to one with a 4L60e auto.

Re: Manual transmission

I've got a 4.3 with the same NV3500. 1st gear is not a granny, drives like a car transmission.
