Powerglide/TH350 Shifter Detent Difference

I am converting from a Powerglide to a TH350 on my 66. Is there any difference between the shifter detents on the bottom of the column?

Years ago I compared a rough dimensioned drawing I made of mine to a 67-72 TH350 column and it appeared to be the same or at least it would have seemed to work OK.

Here's my PG detent:

Re: Powerglide/TH350 Shifter Detent Difference

My '63 has the powerglide detent and a 350 transmission installed by the previous owner. Everything works ok except that last drive position. I only have 2 instead of 3 drive detents. Never been a problem.
