springs

i can get 4 springs from 75 el camiino will these fit my 70 long bed to lower it some?

why dont you just get new ones? no use puting bad shocks on a truck that is heavier than an elcamino. JMHO

No clue on if the shocks would work, and I have to agree with 68...get new ones, cheap ones ate only like 20 each or so.

yea i agree with those guys sometimes saving money just isnt worth it in the long run you end up not really saving anything and wasting a bunch of time in the process

it depends on the drop you end up with you dont want the shocks to bottom out. ya gotta remember ur truck is heavier than the elcamino and will sit a lil lower. you might need to get shocks for a lowered truck

the guy is stripping el camino this week I will take before and after measurments and pictures, in the next 2-3 weeks or so, need to go get 5 lug rear to install because i installed 80 front crossmember. Need to do this as cheap as possible, the truck is for my father in texas.

Since it is a 70, you might get lucky and only need axle shafts and drums.
Do you know what month your truck was built?

true but i want to cleanup rearend and install springs so cost would be the same and i am already pulling rear.
