rebuilding calipers...
is it hard, need special tools? Or should I just buy new or remanufactured..or does anyone have 73-8? for 1 1/4" discs for sale in working condition? Thanks as always.

why bother rebuilding when it's so cheap to replace??

Yup best thing that ever happened to auto parts. Those things are dirt cheap. You can afford to change them everytime you fill your gas tank...

Cheap but yet easy to rebuild. Take a air chuck and you can blow the piston out. Be careful doing this as the pressure will SMASH the hell out of you hand if in the way. Put a piece of wood in to catch it. I bought a new set of calipers then pulled them apart and smoothed themout then powder coated them. Turned out pretty slick. This is alot cheaper than buying a high dollar calipers when mainly all I was looking for was looks. If you are not worried about this and you are just looking for a rebuild and not perfection then the (REBUILT) caliper is the way to go.
