Add a leaf or Air bags for trailering???

I have a 98 Z71, 1/2 ton with the 5.7L. I want to keep the ass end from sagging so much when I hook a trailer up to it but I would like to keep a decent ride yet. Do I go with the Add-a-Leafs or the Air bags?

Personally, I like the bags. My dad had them on a 97' Tahoe and they really level the ride out. You can fine adjust the bags more than the add-a-leafs and the bags are really easy to bolt in. We did have problems with air leaks for a while after installing the bags. You'll need a compressor and air tank if you plan on adjusting the bags while driving which makes them more expensive than the leaf helpers.

Just picked up a set on ebay, Ride Rite's. Hope there good.

I don't think I'll put on a compressor quite yet, I'll likely have a good supply of air in my trailer at all times or wont be too far away from air. I'll probably only use them when I'm towing otherwise I'll just leave 10 or so lbs in them. Hope they can hold up to 4-4500lbs.

You will love the bags. I had them on a couple of my daily driver that were lowered. If I needed to haul a load, just added a bit of air, and it towed/hauled like a dream. Air it out when your done, and you don't know they are there...

Got the bags today and they were brand new still in the package. Went to put them and my exhaust is going to be in way so I'll have to take it back to the exhaust shop to reroute my new exhaust I just had put on.
