I like the look of the paint peeling off on the hood.

What did you end up doing with those 3/4 ton over-load leafs?

can any one tell me what kind of motor i have here a pick of the motor and the pulley or do you guys need the number off the motor

Did you ever find out what motor you have?
For most the hardware the 230, 250, and 292 were pretty generic. Same intake/exhaust, alt, all that stuff was interchangeable if I am not mistaken. On the passenger side of your motor, below the spark plugs in the side of the block you have 2 plates with 3 bolts in them. Again if I am not mistaken, those are indicative of a 292. Especially if the truck was originally a 3/4 ton it would stand to reason that it would come with that inline 6, if not a 283.

You probably have a really low gear transmission too, if it is the original as well.

Doesn't hurt to run the block numbers in any case, know exactly what you are dealing with.

I like your work so far, you got me eyeballing those fender skirts, I have a stepside, but they certainly add something to your Fleetside!!

Good luck on your build!

i had to get a new set of tires i had firestones 5.50 16 inch tires i love they way they look but i was getting air bubbles on the side so i took them back and exchange them for a bigger size so i got firestones 6.00 16 and i really like the way they look know and seem to ride a little more smoother

i pick up this red ball antenna and put in on my truck i think it cool now i can listen to the fm radio

Truck is looking great!! I love how everybody has a certain style when building their truck ,and like seeing you build a "bomb" style, skirts look good and think your the first i have seen run them on these trucks...Wish i lived closer so i could go to the pomona swap meet looks like they got all the good stuff and wont break the pocket with some of the prices your paying...keep up the good work.
