New guy intro + needs help with TCI leaf kit situation

Hi,
First time poster here, have had a -59 lwb fleetside since last summer. It was intended to be a driver from day one with little down time but you know how it goes. In short it has a sbc, a th400, a 10bolt/8.5" rear end, a heidts M2 up front, a standard 69+ GM tilt column, 15" rallyes with "police" caps and a tci leaf kit out back. For better or worse I also did a gas monkey style exhaust inspired of their sweptline, see pic. The truck sits in my cramped garage right now so overview pictures are difficult but I will post some when I (soon?) get it out on the road. Anyway I have a situation going with my tci leaf install. The shock mounts have been installed as per tci instructions and so has the rear end I believe, but the shocks end up too far back, please see attached pics. Am I missing the obvious here? Any comments welcomed

Can't tell from the pics but is your drive shaft installed? Is it possible that you reversed the leafs which would locate the axle an inch or so too far fwd. I'm only going from memory here but I think the centering dowle is on the trailing side if the leaf. Just measure from the eye to the center of the axle and see if you have to flip the leafs around. Just a thought

Did anyone ever figure this out I am having the same issue. I think it might be because the springs are new so it is keeping the axle forward and once all the weight is back on the truck it might line up.
