Picked up my 3rd and best OBS so far.

So a few weeks ago I went and bought another OBS I've had 3 of these trucks, first one was a 1994 heavy half K2500 W/T model ext cab with a 305 TBI in it. was handed down to me from my dad who bought it with 12k miles on it in 1996.I loved that truck. but it was certainly gutless, and by the time i sold it it was getting pretty rusty, and as clean as i kept the paint the clear coat started to peel badly. Then I bought a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500, which ironically was also a heavy half, as it had the 14 bolt semi floater rear in it. Was a clean truck for the year, I enjoyed it for about a year then sold it off, it wasn't anything special and I did abuse the truck a bit when I had it lol. but my last most recent one was another 1994 rust free but with a few dents. sold it after about 2 weeks because after 7 years of not owning an early TBI powered OBS I forgot how absolutely GUTLESS the TBI v8's were. I couldn't stand driving it lol.

I had no intention of owning another OBS by any means as I wanted a cheap daily driver civic that was good on fuel but I couldn't find a 1994-'00 civic that wasn't absolutely trashed. So then I came across this truck, it was a bit more than I wanted to spend but I knew if I didn't jump on it, I would NEVER find another one like it.

its a 1996 GMC Sierra. 1 owner truck, ordered brand new in 1996 with all power options, the Z71 offraod package, vortec 350. But he best part was he optioned it with a factory 5 speed manual transmission. the previous owner too very good care of it, had the chassis oiled every year, kept maintenance records on a tablet since new in 1996. I've got 2 "credit card" keys with it, the original window sticker, build sheet and receipts for any recall or warranty work. I even got the original VHS tape they gave you when you bought the truck! Truck only has 130k miles, now don't get me wrong its not perfect, it does have its flaws, a small crack in the bed from hitting a deer, some scuffs and scrapes from being used as a truck of course. I LOVE how smooth this truck drives, its so quite inside, and not one single rattle or squeak in the interior.
