Anyone here use a Tune Trapper Hidden Antenna

really, all that thing is, is unbolting your antenna, and putting it in the cab. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but the mechanics of an antenna are very simple. The waves are picked up by the antenna rod (this style or OEM style) or, the amplified antenna which is amplified to overcome the steel or fiberglass barrier of a vehicle. Copper transfers waves pretty well, and I think that's the selling point of this, as it says double wound with copper I believe.

I put one in mine. I installed the antenna on top of the tank behind the seat and ran the wire under the floor mat. I hooked mine up to a Kenwood head unit so I can't say anything about how it might affect a stock radio. My reception was definitely improved over the stock antenna.
