Wiper switch and temp gauge

Good day.
First time on here, so bare with me....
I have just picked up a 65 GMC c1000 with a 307 small block conversion and have been battling some really awful wiring. The rest of the truck is good but the dash is a nightmare. Previous owners have literally nailed in some horrid aftermarket gauges and it looks terrible. I plan to reinstate the original temperature gauge but am unsure what the sender / sensor needs to be to work with the stock gauge.
Secondly the wiper switch is broken and a toggle switch has been stuck under the dash, the original is still there but with bits missing but luckily the chrome nob is still there I have searched online for a replacement but can't seem to find the right one? Any ideas would be mega.
And finally I would like to get hold of a period steering wheel but again can't find one. Any clues as to where I maybe able to pick one up. Ideally mail order as I'm in the UK.

Best regards

Rich.

Re: Wiper switch and temp gauge

If you have the original gauge cluster you can have it redone at RedlineG.com
If you don’t have it, I know he has one because I just did some trading with him. He restored the one that goes in my 63 C-10. I had one for the 65 that I didn’t need.

I tried to use the temp gauge sending unit from the local parts store but it was way off. I ended up ordering it from lectric.

I think LmC sells the blinker switch.

Re: Wiper switch and temp gauge

The '60-'66 GMC's use the same knobs as the '60-'63 Chevy's. I do not know if that means they also use the '60-'63 Chevy switches such as the wiper switch

Here is the temp sending unit for the gauge dash.

Re: Wiper switch and temp gauge

Thanks for all the replies.
Have ordered the parts.
Whilst I'm waiting for the sender does anyone happen to know what resistance the gauge is looking for when hot and cold?

Thanks again

Rich.
