Alingment question.

Has anyone had their front end aligned on a 2wd 00-07 truck? Are they like the 88-98 trucks that required the alignment slots to be knocked out and eccentric washers installed?

I just went to have my tires rotated, and found some very bizarre tire wear. The inner tread of the tire had a groove worn in it 3/4" deep. Even the guy that sells a gazillion of these tires said he had never seen anything like it.

For a point of reference, this is on my 2006 Silverado 2wd Crewcab. I don't know what's causing such bizarre wear, but I feel I should have the alignment checked.

Re: Alingment question.

Cool. I haven't had an alignment done since I lowered my 97 Crewcab. Everything after that I have just dropped the rear with a shackle and left them alone.

I don't think this truck needs an alignment either, but I don't want to destroy anther set of tires.
