59 TF hand brake question
I bought this spring for my hand brake
can't seem to figure it out . I feel like I'm missing something .? before I modify/destroy the spring I thought I would ask the question It looks too long shouldn't it go in the hole and the spring center be around the handle Pivote bolt .?.. . ....Thanks Sp . . . . . .

the spring is the right one. The bent end goes up the stamped steel handle and the shroter end slides into that hole of the cast handle, you need to clean out the rust and possibly the end of the broken spring so it will slide into the handle

I just could rap my mind around it I was first thinking I need to pinch the spring in a "V" shape then i saw your picture tried it worked out simple thanks again ....Sp .
