New guy from ky

Hi everyone. Just got my first truck about two weeks ago it's a 1966 gmc long bed with a 305e v6. Been replacing parts and getting it ready for the road. I haven't been a member for very long but I've used this forum for a lot of good info so thanks everyone for that 👍.

Re: New guy from ky

Thank you I plan on leaving it as is I like original. It has a few rusty spots i need to fix but i will do that later I'm gonna drive it a while first before i get into that. If you zoom in on the upper passenger side of windshield it has a spot of rust that needs to be fixed would you happen to know what that price is called and where I could find a patch panel for that?

Re: New guy from ky

The patch panel you want is available everywhere
for 60-63 trucks.
For 64-66 not so much.
I found this in a search on ee=bay
click the link below
https://www.ebay.com/i/113532119737?chn=ps
I am not as familiar with parts for this year.
If you post a question in the 60-66 forum
you will get the attention of the experts
on those years of trucks.
They can get you headed in the right direction.
here's the link to that message board.
