Salvage yard parts

I have set up agreements with several salvage yards I frequent. These yards have several older chevy and GMC pickups as well as a couple newer suburbans etc. There are some trim pieces left in these, dash pieces, seat belts etc., as well as what you would normally find in a wreck. They are on the way home from the fire dept. I will look through these if there is a need from someone who does not have access to a yard. I will do this for a nominal fee and will depend on the part but it will be done mainly as a service for some of you out there that don't have the resources. Chip

I would be interested in a decent, blue 60/40 bench seat from an early nineties GM truck.

Re: Salvage yard parts

Hey Chip,
If ya happen to run across any of those trucks that still has the door switch for the dome light, I could use a couple of 'em. No need for a special trip to the yard but if ya think of it when you're there...
Thanks;

Re: Salvage yard parts

I'll pay good money for a solid bench from an '88 to '94. Not interested in 60/40's, bucket seats, or work truck seats... looking for a solid bench, with or without headrests, with or without the fold-down armrest, and must be in good condition (not torn, not greasy, etc). If you run across something like this and are willing to ship, I'll make it worth your while. This goes for anyone who might have one of these

Thanks

John

Re: Salvage yard parts

Bigunde..what condition do you want the trans in....I have found them with a price range from $350.00 to $650.00 plus shipping. I am unsure of the condition of the 350.00 just the difference in salvage yards maybe.It is still a work in progress.

Re: Salvage yard parts

I could use that door handle trim piece you're holding up in the last "door" pic! Actully I need one for both sides and the little tweeter speaker cover for the passenger side.
