Thanks guys, dont know if I will make it to Indy this year, our first child is due a week or two after the show. Plan on going to a lot of local car show around the St. Louis Area. Actually just got back from the Magic Dragon CAr Show at Lake of the Ozarks, had just at 1000 cars enter!

Well you have a very nice truck sir. The only thing i can say is i think it is sitting to high as i have a 1968 chevy k 20 4x4 with a 327 sm465 4 speed and ladder bars i built and a hitch i built also you want your bars to be as level as possible...i have pulled my truck 4 times last year and need to make a weight bracket for the front of it for this year... i have 4:56 gears and my truck LOVES it when irun 265/75 16s with 15 lbs in rear and 10 lbs. in front... my 1st pull i did i was 3400 lbs under weight and had my 33 12.50 on it i idle 109 feet until i broke traction (washington county fair Arlington Ne)...second pull i used my 33s and did 129 feet (woodbine Ia) i belive (track was horrible) 3rd and 4th pull were in (neola iowa) i did 196 feet im 6500lbs class and 138 feet in the 7500 lbs class with the 265s on it. track was very good....besides the first pull i did second and 4 lo and i didnt have a tach yet so idk have many r's i was pushing....this next year i will be pulling in the 5500 lb class with the 265's and some weight on the front end it i am also going to try to make some ladder bars for the front axle also... i hope to get my vids up and my pictures soon.. yall should come up to a couple of the nebraska pulls let me know if yall do or and i do not like blocks for the rear because we built some for my buddys pick up and he tore up his ladder bars...

Thanks Jeff,

I was able to make one hook this year, bounced most of the way down the track. From the video it actually looks more like it is jumping down the track. I was hanging 800lbs off the fron, rear was blocked tight and it still jumped all over. I was running some Pro-Comp 305's on Chevy HD Factory wheels. Need some analysis on the run but cant figure out how to post a video on here so people can give me their opinions on what went wrong!!
