1988 V20 Suburban w/ bonus FACTORY SM465!

Picked this truck up about 130 miles away from home back in September, from the original owner. Called him up at 10:30 at night once the ad went on craigslist. He had it listed for $500, "Wouldn't start". Told him sight unseen i'd take it for $500. He said I was the first person to offer his full asking price, he held on to the truck until the following Saturday.

Here's how I got it.

Since then i've put a new fuel tank, sending unit and pump in it. Still wouldn't run right. Finally tracked it down to a non-firing injector on the drivers side. Apparently mice had gotten into the wiring, left the insulation there and literally sucked the copper wire out!!!! So, the PO wrapped it in electrical tape and left it alone.

Since then i've installed a 4" rancho lift kit, 35x10.5x16 TSL Boggers. Still need to fab up some front and rear bumpers for it and delete the running boards. Here's how it sits currently. Also plan on painting the steel wheels white again.

Hopefully in the next week, i'll be replacing the 3.42 geared 14bsf with a 4.10 geared 14bff and a 44 w/4.10's.
