66 with SB2.2

I have a question about a 66 with a SB2.2 390 with T400, Dyno at 685 hp with 590 lbs. of torque. When I put it in drive and give it gas everything is fine, as soon as i punch it and let off the gas it pops into neutral, then i can simply put it back in drive. I have checked motor/trans mounts, everything looks good. Could this be a result of engine torque? Help is much appreciated.

Shift linkage issue? Is the engine torquing over and moving something?
