Hello all,
I've got a 1989 GMC K2500 reg cab and the heater is stuck on defrost. How do I fix this? Is this cable activated or does it have a blend motor?

There are 2 styles. The base model trucks have a cable. The higher end trucks have a blend door actuator.

Does your HVAC control have a screen, If so, you have a blend door actuator.

Thanks! Very basic slide arm controls. I'll explore behind the dash and see if I can't find the problem.
