does this speed warning buzzer look the same as for our trucks?

Best I can remember it does.
If your not worried about what it looks like then use a 70's 80's seat buzzer works just as good and it's under the dash so you want ever see it.

Those are out of a Buick. I’ve pulled many over the years. They work great, same as our trucks, only the mounting bracket is a little different.

I have used these buzzers for Speed Warning Speedos. I have one in my corvette & one in my Vermillion 67.

All good info but you practically need a bull horn to here the stock style buzzer in most of our trucks
 The factory mounting location does not help either.

Here is my old dash I sold! I wished I kept it.
I used like a 80's model seat buzzer. I wear hearing aids in both ears and legally death. I could hear it fine.
