Temp Sensor Issues

Hi guys, First time here and after reading some of the posts here, it is really informative.

I have a 69 C10 fitted with a Vortec 350. My temp sensor is shot so I got one from Early Classics and it doesn't fit. The original one for that model is 1/2" thread and the vortec one is 3/8.
Can anyone help me as to what sensor will work with my gauge.
I don't know what the ohm rating is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks heaps
Steve from Oz
