diesel swap - fuel sending unit help

I have a cummins swapped k30 crew cab and have been using the original passenger side gas sending unit, but the tank has sprung a leak so I'm swapping in a new tank and a diesel sending unit. The new diesel unit has a ground wire that's inside, I have no idea where it connects as the old unit doesn't have one. Any one have any ideas? I dont like the idea of a lose wire inside the tank either haha.

Ive attached a few pics of the new unit.
