Peterson 4x4 Magazine Cover Truck !! HAHA

Never thought it would happen in a hundred years but I guess they ran out of cool trucks to put on the cover

Not even the best pic of the truck !! I like this one a little better

Nice, I'll keep an eye on my mailbox! That is some mud - at first glance I thought it was an S10. Nope!

Nice swap Dirty, I was really debating doing that on my 71 but chickened out...... it is in my future thou. The wiring is what scared me away

Thanks… The wiring isn’t anything to be scared of. Just resist all temptations to rework the harness from the engine donor truck and pony up for a quality stand alone harness from someone like Howell Engine Development. A nice harness make the job virtually plug and play. Reworking a donor harness will yield nothing but headaches. $500 for a stand alone harness is worth every penny

I was right! When I saw the cover, I thought that some on the forum owned that truck. Congrats on the cover.

Re: Peterson 4x4 Magazine Cover Truck !! HAHA

Hey 6600,

If you haven’t already started getting calls from them... there will soon be a company called “In The News” hunting you down to congratulate you on getting your picture in the Peterson’s rag. Then they will try to sell you a plaque with your picture on it. I fell for it when my truck made the Readers Rides. It is not every day that you get your picture in the rags so what the heck.

Makes a neat conversation piece for the office wall.
