They look like 15x8's.
Make sure you measure from the bead surface,... not lip to lip.

This is NOT a for sale thread.
Please go to the parts board for shopping.

Thanks. E

Re: 6-lug Steel wheels for Disc brake Conversion

Sorry about that. I misunderstood the nature of this thread. The first post makes it sound like it is a place to buy wheels (or at least see wheels that are for sale).

Hello Keith I'm doing a front disk brake conversion on my 1960 c10. I called summit and they suggested a 15x7 5.5 smoothie wheel to work with disk brakes. It has a 4.0 backspace... Do you know if this wheel will work...forgot to add I'm staying with six lug.

4" backspace will work.
You will most likely have to trim the lower a-arm with drop spindles.

that good to know...big thanks for the heads-up. Quick question...do you think there will be any asesthetic concerns with the wheel being 1/2 further in the wheel well?

Has anyone tried a set of these on our pre-71 6-lug trucks?
The price seems right.

Re: 6-lug Steel wheels for Disc brake Conversion

Anybody know what the widest wheel and backspacing will fit on the rear of a 69 C10 without it sticking outside the wheel well and no frame modifications. I am using 3 inch drop springs with factory trailing arms. I would really like to put 15x14 wide wheels with 29x18.5R15 tires. Thanks for any help

Re: 6-lug Steel wheels for Disc brake Conversion

Pulled the centerlines and located a nice set of 15x8's for the K5 for plowing the driveway this winter, I have alot of 8'' ralleys, only one set of 15x7's (which came on a 76 chalet) and recently got these off a 74 k5,they look pretty cool for that "original" look

I see they have 3 nubs... I wonder if they'll fit discs. Man these 4-nub stockers are getting hard to find!

Did you ever talk to them? I was going to send them an e-mail but their site doesn't offer one. I've been going back and forth on wheels for my '69 and I really want steelies and dog dish caps. It looks like they could make a 15x10 for the rear and a 15x8 for the fronts.

I'm going to assume they will clear disks but I will call them next week as well if you don't know.

Thanks!

Re: 6-lug Steel wheels for Disc brake Conversion

I had a 72 Blazer that had 15x8's on it and traded my dad for some truck rally's. He still has them on his 72 GMC...I'm gonna run these on my 64 4x4 they came from my 48 Fleetline 16x4.5 I had to do alittle grinding on the caliper and inside of wheel so now they clear...I have to still save some cash for tires...

Does anybody have profile photos to show the difference between the 3-nub and 4-nub versions?
