67-68 horn cap button repair

ok guys so ive looked and looked. does ANYONE know how to replace the tabs part on the bottom of the CST deluxe caps on the 67-68`s? ( the ones with the teeth that break off like an old man with gum disease lol)

I'm pretty sure there is a thread on repairing those somewhere on here. I will take a look....
