Re: Paint sprayer

I wouldn't. You'd get better results from spray cans than a Wagner type airless sprayer.

I've been an industrial painter for 15 years and can guarantee if you can't get good results from an airless paint sprayer it has nothing to do with the equipment. Not saying it's the recommended method for automotive work but it can be made to work if needed and with results far better than a spray can.

Re: Paint sprayer

There are reasons airless sprayers have never been recommended for automotive work.

Re: Paint sprayer

I know nothing about if it will work or how good because I never have held one in my hand. But they were tried out back in the early days of the clean air act and people were making a living using them to paint cars. But they were I am sure a pretty high end unit. They went by the waste side though and are largely forgotten.
