Big window to small window conversion
So I've always loved the look of the 67 small window trucks. I've got my marker lights shaved and the only thing I'm missing is the small back glass on my 68. So just how feasible would it be to convert the big window to a small one? Prefer to keep my current cab. No concern about cutting it up, it rusted out and is a street strip ratty hot rod anyways. I've thought about possibly finding a small window cab and cutting out the rear section and transplanting it on mine? Or Possibly build a filler panel and just use Lexan? Seems to be plenty of people converting small to big but not the other way around. What's your guys thoughts and opinions? Thanks!

Re: Big window to small window conversion
If you have a small window donor cab I think the easiest thing is to cut the rear window out & graft it in your big window cab.

Yeah that's what I was thinking would probably be easiest. Can't find anybody who has ever tried it, sounds like a good bit of work but it'd be cool to try I think

Re: Big window to small window conversion
I'd switch cabs. Your talking about so much work, not to mention that area is double walled. I'd either change cabs or sell it and buy a 67
