Re: 66 c10 Starter Wiring

Do you have a wiring diagram? It will show the plug, hence the size of the hole. - http://webhosting.web.com/imagelib/s...ng%20Schematic

Yes
I actually went thru the entire manual
Nothing very specific
Hoping someone could point on the firewall with a pix

Are you using the original firewall plug to make the passage thru the firewall?

Re: 66 c10 Starter Wiring

i think the brown "alternator ignition" wire goes to the alternator itself.
the small red paired with the solenoid purple goes to the dash harness.
yet i havent figured where thru the firewall it goes.

help

the rear tail light harness from the dash comes out this hole down the firewall and runs back to the rear of the truck.

If you are not using an hei then the white wire would go to the coil, the pink would eventually get there after it goes through the ballast resistor.

Worth mentioning I have never used this harness, I'm going off the diagram you posted.
