Door glass channel installation

My panel truck has '52 doors with the vent window. To install new glass run channels will I have to remove the vent window or is there a trick where I can get the channels in with the glass still installed? Or a trick to removing the glass without disassembling the vent windows?

I've done '50 doors before with 1-piece windows; it was easy to remove the glass by tilting it. I don't see how I can do that with wind wing division bars in the way.

Re: Door glass channel installation

It's been too many years but for a door with a vent, I think, (I repeat), I think I lowered the windows down into the doors and then removed the vent window assembly......I think......
