Re: What did you start with, what did you end up with?

my 77 when I bought it, crushed fender, 350/350, tranny didnt work, cut coils w/particle board spacers, mouse ridden interior. $400

Not close to being done but how it sits now, 454/th400, and I heard a rumor about a new paint job in the works too

Re: What did you start with, what did you end up with?

Adam, I hope to see your Suburban this summer. The Hot Rod Power Tour is passing through Montgomery heading that way. I'd like to make the trip from here on down, and hopefully in Bruiser if the motor is still in it then. If the weather is good, that'd be a fun trip to make with the top off.

Is your father still alive? I wouldn't be able to resist getting a current picture of you two with the truck and framing the new and old together.

Do you know the actual mileage?

I looked at cochino12's post with his name and mixed it up, my reply was meant for justpball... (Doh!)

I was checking out a picture of your truck - again - and before I replied I looked down at the name in the sig.

Then I replied to you about following the Power Tour down but called you the wrong dang name because the picture I was looking at was in cochino12's reply w/quote.

If that helps. Or I probably muddied the waters further. Just go back a few posts of mine and where I said "Adam" I meant to put "justpball". That'll clear it up.

Something like that would look nice on the wall with one of Joseph's renderings. Then the man cave starts looking like a shrine.

Will do - it'd be pretty lame to miss it with the last leg coming through town. If the motor is out of my truck I'll ride with a buddy or probably take my DD so my sons can ride.

Sorry for the hijack...
