he says he has "hub adapters" to install the dual wheels....what are they?.....and where can you get those flares?....anybody?

Making your burb into a dually does not make it a 1 ton right away right?

I am only posting this to settle a bet with my friend...

He insists if I do this conversion then my burb would be a 1 ton right away.

To which I replied that no it would not be. I don't think my 14 bolt axle is rated for a 1 ton truck to start so that would need to be upgraded and secondly I would have to upgrade the springs in the rear and also the front axle and springs.. Am I right?

Yeah that's all true. Plus IIRC in certain generations of chevy trucks, the 1 ton frames were taller. Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

They talk about that in the Arrowcraft site in the FAQ section.....in a word no

It won't ever be a 1 ton.. It would have to have the frame, suspension, and axles to be a 1ton... and at that point you have a whole different truck. Also if the door sticker/VIN does not say 1 ton, the legally it is not.
