Blazer Ride Height

Hello
I am looking for the ride height of a stock blazer Center of the Axle straight up to the lowest center part body wheel well arch. Trying to figure out how much lift is actually on my blazer

Thanks

Re: Blazer Ride Height

Hello Pound41. I have attached a file showing the ride height of the k5 blazer. I found my blazer was a 4" lift by putting extra springs in the front and rear.

Take a look at a post I made a few months ago. It has the dimensions you're looking for.

Thanks for your reply I bought a 4 inch lift and its way too high for me.
The truck was lifted when I bought it so I had no reference of stock height.
I am planning to have the new springs de arched. When you had yours done did you have any trouble with the springs being longer and harder to bolt in
Thanks

None at all ! De arching a couple of inches will only lengthen the spring a fraction of an inch. As I mentioned before, replacing the springs made the biggest improvement in handling. No regrets.
For $hits & giggles I just went out and measure the height of my tailgate when opened so I could compare it to JDSurge's factory diagram. Mine measures 35" which is a huge difference from the advertised 29". I estimate my lift to be about 2" higher than stock, and the 33" tires might add another 1 1/2" which in my calculations should put me at around 32 1/2" for the tailgate height.
