I am about to acquire a 1978 Chevy long bed regular cab 2wd 350. My question is, what all I do I need to get the truck pretty low as possible without dragging frame or anything. I can cut, weld, grind etc. that doesn't other me, but I've never bagged or lowered a truck, but I know I am capable, I just need help with selecting kits and parts, in the future it's going to have a 383 stroker sitting in it. Any help is appreciated

That will depend on your budget, tires and wheels what you will be using the truck for.
Will you be hauling heavy loads?
Pulling a trailer?
We need more info..

There are a few ways to bag the 73-87 trucks, but I do recommend switching the leafs, and going with a trailing arm or 4-link setup. We have our Pro1 kit which converts the truck over to trailing arms using the Porterbuilt products. This system will get you a low stance and would not intrude into the bed floor. Will come with all your air management as well.

There are other options, but wanted to share this kit, since it has the quality components and everything you have. Some of the other options are less expensive, if you went with a manual air management kit.
