Need help choosing new HVLP gun.

I'm looking at buying a SATAjet 3000. I am not sure what the "B" or "RP" stand for. Or what advantage or disadvantage each may have. Any thoughts by the pro's would be appreciated.

Edit: If you like or dislike SATA. Please leave a comment with a supporting argument. Any and all feedback is good feedback.

Re: Need help choosing new HVLP gun.

Sata makes great spray equipment that is pro level stuff! The price usually stops non pros from purchasing. That said, if you were to think long term and just how much you think You would really use it they are a bargain. Its the best gun I own(non hvlp) and it gets plenty of use. Truly worth every penny! I buy alot of tools a given year and I always try to buy the best tools I can afford for any project. Spend the money on the Sata you wont be sorry! cheers, Pat p,s, a good buddy of mine is a production painter and he love his Sata jet 300 hvlp gun......

The b is the standard gun the rp puts out more material it really depends on your spray style I like the b and cant stand the rp but have friends with the opposite opinion.

I prefer the Iwata lph400 it seems to spray better at the recommended pressure than the Sata oh and it's a little cheaper.

I have 4 Sata guns, I love them! I have a also sprayed with Iwata's but do not own one. I thing they both shoot great! but I also have a good idea of what im doin. In my opinion the Iwatas lay the clear out better...
