1967 BBW Custom C-10

Ok thought I'd put together a build thread on this truck since it's back on the road playing. A good friend sniffed this one out and I'm blessed to have it fall into my hands. Back story on the truck is a single family owned, bought new at Poudre Valley Motors in Ft. Collins. We found it just outside of Ft. Collins out of luck parked outside next to a building. The protecto-plate, owners manual were in the glove box and all four dog dishes were laying on the seat. It has had an old re paint but the tailgate is original paint (must have been hiding in the rafters while the camper was in the bed) Has 58k on the ticker and more to come.

My plan was to keep as much originality to the truck as possible but some things just can't be reproduced. Well I can go on and on but here are some pics

Re: 1967 BBW Custom C-10

Here's where it is at today. Things to still do are
-Cab mounts
-Locate a few more parts to put on
-Kind of debating if I want to go through with fixing the rust issues in the rockers
-Cut bed
-Ls swap

Re: 1967 BBW Custom C-10

I can sure appreciate the tedious hours it takes to do all that. Hard work but very gratifying. I think those rockers would be worth it. Really sharp truck.

In the time capsule thread there is another wonderful 67 that is on eBay currently. A lot of similarities to your truck. If you are a tech guy maybe you can even permanently post the pictures from the add to the thread.

Interesting your interior is red. I would’ve assumed it came in fawn(?) Neat truck!

Thanks Steve, that truck that was on ebay is a beautiful truck. Wish they would have accepted my trade offer I've noticed most of the vermillion trucks had fawn interiors too.

Right on guys Out of all my rigs this one is my favorite in the herd. I drove it quite a bit over the summer and It became the official shop/trash haul truck Worked on minor stuff so not really a lot for build pictures, but I did install a set of body mounts from Wes @ classic and they are spot on. Well here are a few pics from the Rona summer.

Oh man what a gem. I’m totally jealous. Glad you use it, and not just let it sit.

Not much new with ol' red these days. He gets out and shows the young whipper snappers how to work every once in awhile but is more or less living the retired life now after years of sitting out in the weather.
