Radio ? on 56'

My dash has been cut already by the PO, need a plan for a radio, is there anything out there with a face plate that will look OK with the raised circles around the knobs ? Not hell bent on the stock look but needs to be clean, I already have the dash repair panel if no other option is available.

Mine was cut when I got it also. Nothing looked good to me with the raised rings which I wanted to use. Welded in a patch and restored the factory look which your patch panel should do and used the Retro sound unit. Has the classic look but has all the modern features. No CD player but the MP player and thumb drive attachment are on cables which allows them to be remote mounted. Put mine in the glove box since the A/C made it so small it's virtually worthless.

It's the Vintage Air electronic unit. Threw extra money at it because I thought it complemented the radio and dash really well + with the engine set back, I had zero room for cables and such.

i have the same retro sound radio. very happy with it. the USB mp3 player is great. remote mount inside the glovebox. organize your music into folders on the computer before you copy them onto the thumb drive and you can easily navigate thru a library of music .
