Got some more rusty crap removed and test fitted the rocker and lower kick panel... Added some por-15 after scaling and wire brushing the solid steel..

Well the body is pretty much shot but I have a couple of parts trucks to choose from
 The brown 79 on the left is mine that I am rebuilding for a work truck her 79 isnt in that pic. Nor is the 83 3/4 ton I picked up

got some work done today... floor support is in and fits nice... and the floo nhas only one patch the size of a half dollar to go.....

I few more..... i need to dress the welds and POR the floor..... I plan on re-inforcing the out floor / rocker. then install the angle iron on the underside for the plate to replace the torque box....

ahh OK they do look a bit better than mine..... they look to be good "driver" shape... i am sure my truck will never be show quality anyhow since i am doing so much fabrication..they would work IMO

nice original lo mile 77 jimmy ... with working A/C... solid underneath.... needs a lil TLC but runs like a bear best thing is...it was CHEAP clock says 32K for a NY truck id believe it.. at 132 up here theyd be a rot box and in the bone yard 20 yrs ago this thing is tight n strong...

thanks once i get the edelbrock off it and replace it with the OE q jet with the kickdown and A/C solenoid shell be nicer..
