Question np208, sm465 question?

What year chevy's came stock with the np208 TC?
What year chevy's came stock with sm465?
What years came stock with the above combo?

The 208 appears in 1981 through 1988 then it was replaced with the np241/np243. The sm465 is from 68/69 to 91. The np205 was also around until 1988. As far as being mated together I'm not sure. Never heard of the two together.

1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now.....
1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone.
1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed.

1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm

My 83 K20 has 6.2, 465/NP208. I think this was used from 81-87. In 88 they went to the NP241 even in the 88-91 square style trucks (with vent windows)

Yup, '81 - '87 for the 465/208. Maybe a few in '88 solid axle trucks (Blazer/Jimmy and Suburban), but most '88s would have a 241.

yeah before 81 the 465 was mated with the 205. Who can tell me, Will the cross members for that 465/205 out of a 79 will fit into my 82 without mod? I've heardthe frame were different. I'm new to mixing years.
