Can somebody identify this cruise?

Came off of a '72, but it wasn't listed on the glove box door. Just wondered if it was original '72 truck cruise or other. Says AC cruisemaster on it. I don't have the switch. There is a partial GM part # on the actuator of 330127. Thanks www.picturetrail.com/awriser

Thumbs up

In 72 the cruise control was a dealer installed item. It would not be listed on the glovebox. Before 72, the factory installed the cruise. They had a lot of problems so they had dealers install them to cut down on warranty claims. Cruise Master is correct and it was activated by a button under the dash. Before 72 the button was on the end of the turn signal. The unit I have is in the barn buried in a box, but from what I can remember that looks correct. The button you need to find is black and about 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch high. One button in the middle with "Cruise Master" written under it.

Thanks for the info. Does anybody have a pic of a '71-72 setup to compare? I'd like to see what the carb bracket looks like too, since I don't have one to look at.

Interesting how the 69/70 looks like it belongs there with the switch inside the turn signal, while the later ones look like dealer installed stuff.
