What type of crimpers for wiring harness?

I am currently building a 65 c10 with ls 5.3 and new wiring harness. I am trying to stay ahead on purchasing things I will need for my build and need some advice on crimpers. What do you guys suggest are a good set of crimpers that will do the job correct the 1st time through? I would rather purchase then rent so I have them for the next project as well.

I just use some klien needle nose for the odd terminals, then solder each one. For others just use t&b crimpers

I got these ratchet crimpers . Be sure to get the ones with all the dies . They crimp all kinds of terminals . Also crimps the ones that curl around . Makes a good solid connection . I used to solder as well but no longer . Before I only got a marginal crimp and soldered it for a solid connection . They work good for a doit yourself shop . I also got one of the larger hydraulic crimper as well makes a real nice crimp for making things like battery cables .

Is that the type that crimps tighter and tighter each time you pump the handles until on the last pump it releases?

I have these. I used these when I worked in the Repair Dept, at the auto factory. They crimp terminals the same as you would see on any factory harness. I bought both from the same place, it was over 20 yrs ago, but they still have them. Not sure if you can order online. I had to call back then.
