Window regulator help

I have a '67 with a very tight right window - difficult to roll down.. I have replaced the window regulator and the wing window (all new parts) and it is still difficult to roll down.

If I assist it by hand for the first few inches is rolls down easily after that and easily rolls back up until the last inch or so.

Thought and suggestions ?

Track not lubed up good? Or maybe the window was replaced and nut cut to the right shape? Wider at the top than it should be?

Did you lube the track where the rollers fit into? If so here are two other possibilities, the rear glass channel felt needs replaced or you might be able to adjust the channel back a little. I don't remember if there is adjustment at the bottom or not. There is no adjustment at the top. Below is a picture of the rear channel screws location.

Mine was similar, not quite as severe though. After taking the door apart for paint the window vertical channel (not sure what the correct name is) was bent. Door must have been hit from the side at some point. The bend would make it bind. Here's the part:

If the felt in the window run channel is torn it can cause the glass to bind. It's pretty common on vehicles this old.

I was thinking that too. He said he replaced the wing window with all new parts so the channel felt should be new in it.. That's why I was concentrating on the rear glass channel.

Read my door assembly thread...
The rubber rear/upper channel weatherstrip is not fully seated in the rear channel where the channel meets the door, just above the door latch....you cant seat it there wihout removing either the top or bottom to create slack.

Thanks to all for their help I’m not exactly sure what the fix was but I went through each step as y’all advised. The window is now functioning as if it were new !

As always a wealth of knowledge and information found here in and greatly appreciated. I learn something new each day. 🤓
