Grounding My Gas Tank?

I Made an Aluminum Gas Tank For My 69 C10.

Just Wondering How I Should Go About Grounding The Tank and Sending Unit. Going To Use Rubber pads Between The Tank and Frame..

Anything Else I Should Take Into Consideration

Thank You

I would just run a ground wire from where the mounting bolt contacts the tank flange to the frame. The sender should ground fine through the mounting bolts or twist lock. The tank might or might not ground through the mounting bolts, depends on how clean the frame is at that point.

Thumbs up Re: Grounding My Gas Tank?

Agree take a couple of good size wire and make some ground straps and hook one on each side of the frame to one of the mounting bolts to the tank. Never can have to many grounds!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
