Question '99 Burb headlights

I drove my wife's Burb (1999) a couple of nights ago and noticed that the dim lights seem to be VERY dim (more than usual). Brights seem ok. I know the running lights and dim lights are the same, and it looks as though the lens is starting to discolor. Can I get just the lens, or do I need the entire assembly? Whichever, where is the best place to buy?

Thanks, Clay

You can buy just the lens. I would suggest the dealer, but you can get aftermarket parts as well. I really am not sure how the aftermarket lamps hold up, though.

I would go to the dealer. The aftermarkets don't seem to fit right and take some extra work to make them fit right if they do at all. You can get just the lens for them.

Re: '99 Burb headlights

you do have to buy the whole assembly, i know this for sure, i work at a part store they sell for $200.00. or you can get a headlight restoration kit made by permatex, which will clean and polish the lense clear for about $12.00. most chances the dim lights are because of the age of the bulbs themselves, try new bulbs.
