No photobucket, what to use now??
So wouldn't pay photobucket after they started the bully plan, what is the most common to use besides that's easy to post pic's with, flickr or what works.

Re: No photobucket, what to use now??
If you are just talking about posting to this board they host pictures here. Just start your own in members gallery.
If you are talking more general all around, I cant help, but I'm sure plenty of people will chime in.

Re: No photobucket, what to use now??
I use flickr with good results but my fear is that they will all eventually go to some form of plan similar to what Photobucket did. Hopefully if they do, they will realize the $400 asking price from PB is highway robbery and will offer more reasonable plans. If not, there's going to be waves of ruined forum posts. To counter that, at least on this forum, I have switched to uploading my photos to the member gallery here. It's somewhat tedious to upload a bunch of photos at once, but at least you know as long as the forum is here so too will be your photos.

Re: No photobucket, what to use now??
Thank you both, was thinking Flickr may go the same way so figured best to ask those in the know 1st, will try our gallery first and go from there.

I've used Flickr for a couple years and like it. If they change to a fee, I'd be done with them too.

Re: No photobucket, what to use now??
I have never heard of fastone, will look into it as for flickr seems good but just waiting to see if the follow FB and go the cash route, doesn't seem to be much else except this site.
Thanks for the input from everyone so far. Mudman.

Re: No photobucket, what to use now??
I save mine in my gmail account, a cloud the company maintains and on my hard drive. I load them on a flash drive once in a while in case of a crash.
